Enigma delivers radiofrequency energy through an array of 36 insulated, gold-plated needles, using a 1 MHz bipolar RF system.
The needle array connects to the device through the single-use cartridge. Dosage, needle depth, and treatment pace are selected on the touchscreen by a qualified professional.

The gliding technique
Enigma QPulse™ Technique
A gliding technique with automatic needle cycling. The needles retract in less than 1/20th of a second. Set dosage, needle depth, and treatment pace on the touchscreen. Refer to current labeling and professional training for operation.
Dosage
10 levels
Select from the device’s ten energy levels. Settings must be determined by a qualified professional.
Depth
0.5–3.5 mm
Needle depth adjusts in 0.25 mm increments across this range.
Pace
Slow. Medium. Fast.
Choose from three pace settings in automatic mode. Changing pace does not change the selected RF energy per pulse. Single-dose mode is also available.
Treatment time
Two passes on the face can be completed in 15–20 minutes.
Timing varies by patient and protocol. Allow additional appointment time for consultation, preparation, and aftercare.
A closer look at dosage
The dose, in numbers.
Each dosage level corresponds to a specified amount of RF energy per pulse, measured in joules (J).
The Operations Manual lists the values shown here. The energy increase between levels is not uniform, so a higher level number does not represent an equal step up in output.
